Q Whether working individually or collectively, approaching a complex project is stressful. Developing group rules for acceptable work, communication strategies, and agreed upon behaviors should help establish expectations and lead to less stress. As such, individuals and teams will work to record and submit a contract. Please use the following questions to build the contract that fits how you will approach the interdisciplinary problem project: Self Contract Team Contract What expectations do you have for this project? What are the team member’s responsibilities? How will you keep yourself motivated to complete the required components? What are your means of communicating with each other? - What are examples of effective communication? • Example: “We expect replies to emails within 24 hours during the business week.” What is your timetable to draft, edit, and revise work? How will you ensure that each team member performs their appointed tasks? How will you utliile resources (Graduate Writing Center, Personal Librarians, etc.) to complete the project? When do you expect drafted work? And how will you utilize available university resources? - What are your plans if a team member does not submit adequate work? The team contract is due during Module Five, in Blackboard.
